The client wanted a space that would be at once <strong>modern, welcoming, impressive<\/strong> and fully functional. The project combines elegant, calm design with practical solutions tailored to everyday work with clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Service desk designed with privacy in mind<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The key element is a carefully designed <strong>reception desk<\/strong>The countertop and built-in cabinetry were shaped so that the person serving the visitor has a comfortable workspace, while the client on the other side cannot see notes, sticky notes or documents. Discretion and working comfort have been preserved. The cabinetry includes numerous storage compartments for documents, space for a printer, and room for folders and materials handed to clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Waiting area<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>A lounge zone<\/strong>, has been created in the room where subsequent visitors can sit comfortably and wait to be served. Soft seating, a calm colour palette and natural light streaming in through large glazing create a pleasant, non-office atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Materials and design constraints<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the project we had to retain the existing floor and the location of electrical outlets. All other elements \u2013 furniture joinery, wall finishes, countertops and details \u2013 were selected freely. We used light wood, dark stone with a distinctive texture, and minimalist track and linear lighting.
