The Lobster House Gdańsk – a luxury restaurant on the Motława
The design of the second The Lobster House restaurant in Gdańsk continues the success of the first location in Warsaw, which we also designed. The venue was created in an exceptional setting on the Motława River, in the place of a former gastronomic premises, across several floors with a terrace offering a view of the river. Directly in front of the entrance there is a pedestrian footbridge that allows guests to comfortably cross from one side of the Motława to the other.
The aim of the project was to adapt the interior design to the new location while preserving the distinctive character of the The Lobster House brand. The key elements became the homaria – large glazed tanks with live lobsters, placed on every floor. They create an authentic seaside atmosphere and form the central focal point of the interior. On the bar, a special station with crushed ice was provided for the display of oysters, fish and other seafood.
The interior was arranged with an emphasis on luxury and elegance. Natural materials dominate: marble countertops, green fluted bar fronts, brick walls, designer linear lighting and neon lobster motifs. Guests experience the atmosphere of an exclusive seaside venue where dining on seafood becomes a true celebration.
The Lobster House Gdańsk combines the best features of the Warsaw restaurant with the unique character of its location on the Motława – luxury, the freshness of seafood and the unmistakable atmosphere of Gdańsk.
